GDPR: is Televic a processor or a controller?

Both.

Televic is a controller with its HR, IT, Sales & Marketing, Project, Procurement, Finance ... departments. Any department that holds personal data (name, email addres...) of a contact is a controller. The data can be stored in Outlook, CRM tools, SAP, HR tools...


Televic is a processor with only these products that hold personal data ; the client is the controller. This means:
- Education: almost all of its products are processing personal data of users of the tools (in the cloud).
- other BUs: often the processing by Televic is limited to the interventions that happen for maintenance or support reasons.

Both roles have certain implications.
